Rulifson, operated a sheep ranch near Lincoln, Neb., and in 1888 had a real estate office in Kansas City, Mo. In 1889 he returned to Wheatland, where he engaged in farming and worked at contracting in and around Central New York until he came to this city. Mr. Rulifson married Miss Mabel Strunk on May 1, 1895, and last Sunday was their 37th wedding anniversary. He came to Jamestown in 1892 at the invitation of the late Charles H. Wicks and engaged in the contracting business. Later Mr. Rulifson worked at contracting in Sharon and McKeesport, Pa., returning to Jamestown to open an architectural office in 1903. He continued to engage in that profession until stricken with his last illness. He was a registered architect.
