He married a Maria Elizabeth, and had five children by her; per baptismal records in the Falckner's Swamp Lutheran Church of New Hanover, Old Philadelphia Co., Now in the western tip of Montgomery Co., Pa.; (also in the proceedings of the Pennsylvania German Society, Vol. 20 pg. 253). Conrad inherited his father's property in 1751 and farmed same until after his mothers death in 1776. Then he disposed of it and moved with his family to Newberry Twp., York Co., Pa., directly across the Susquehanna River from Middletown, Pa., to which all of his sons moved between 1778 and 1782.
