When Mary was age unknown and George Rau was age 17 they became the parents of Martin Rau circa 1740 in GERMANY. When Mary was age unknown and George Rau was age 26 they became the parents of John Frederick Row [1] 1749 in GERMANY. When Mary was age unknown and George Rau was age 28 they became the parents of George Rau Jr 1751 in GERMANY. When Mary was age unknown and George Rau was age 31 they became the parents of Ludwig Rau circa 1754. When Mary was age unknown and George Rau was age 31 they became the parents of Jacob Rau circa 1754. When Mary was age unknown and George Rau was age 36 they became the parents of John Rau circa 1759. Mary died 1795 at age unknown.

When George was age 36 and Mary Magdalene [ Rau ] was age unknown they became the parents of John Rau circa 1759. Buried at Rau's Church Cemetery. Arrived in Philadelphia on the ship "Phoenix" Oct. 1, 1754, with a wife and two sons. Took the oath of allegiance in Philadelphia. He was granted a warrant of survey in Northumberland (now Snyder) Co. in 1774 and assessed there for the first time in 1776. He was killed while serving in the Northumberland Co. Militia.

• 7 vi. John Rau #1546 was born circa 1759. Individual flags: Rowe. John died 10 February 1835 in Reading, Berks Co, PA, at age 75. He married Susannah Spiera 5 December 1784. (Susannah Spiera #1549.) Susannah was born date unknown. Susannah died date unknown at age unknown. Lived 50 years in Reading, Berks Co, PA. Said he served in 17?? as substitute for his father.
