Mary Alice Rulifson tells of a wonderful letter from a firm of New York attorneys telling how we are the rightful owners of the Trinity Church property. It seems that Trinity Church property in New York City was at one time the property of Annetke Jans Bogardus, somehow a connection to the Rulifson family. Her grandfather C C was sent requests for money to pursue the matter, as was her father. Both men were amused. Neither sent money. She understands that some heirs actually did send money. Mary Alice Rulifson and her mother were very close friends with Mabel Howell Lanpher and her son Joseph Benjamin Lanpher.
