2. William de2 Selkeden [1] (
He married Agatha de [ Selkeden ] date unknown. (Agatha de [ Selkeden ] #1893.) Agatha was born 1239. When Agatha was age 21 and William de Selkeden [1] was age 25 they became the parents of Richard de Selkeden [1] 1260. When Agatha was age 26 and William de Selkeden [1] was age 30 they became the parents of William de Selkeden [2] 1265. When Agatha was age 31 and William de Selkeden [1] was age 35 they became the parents of John de Selkeden [2] 1270. Agatha died circa 1329 at age 90.
When William was age 25 and Agatha de [ Selkeden ] was age 21 they became the parents of Richard de Selkeden [1] 1260. When William was age 30 and Agatha de [ Selkeden ] was age 26 they became the parents of William de Selkeden [2] 1265. When William was age 35 and Agatha de [ Selkeden ] was age 31 they became the parents of John de Selkeden [2] 1270. "William de Selkeden of Ecclesden is found on fines in 1256 and 1271, on subsidy rolls in 1296. He married Agatha, who was a widow in 1308 and appears on subsidy in 1327. This William lived in the time of Henry III and Edward I, and sets forth his claim November 26, 1255, to a house and land in Sidlesham, about four miles south of Chichester; also to two houses and twenty acres of land in Chichester in 1271. Agatha, late wife of William de Selkeden, puts her claim in 1308, in the time of Edward II." [RogSS, p 18]
