He married Susanna Beemer 1 August 1784. (Susanna Beemer #217.) Susanna was born 17 December 1766. Susanna died date unknown at age unknown. When Susanna was age 19 and Harmon Ruliffson [1] was age 25 they became the parents of Mercy Ruliffson 17 December 1785 in Hunterdon Co, NJ. When Susanna was age 20 and Harmon Ruliffson [1] was age 27 they became the parents of Margaret Ruliffson [2] 15 September 1787 in Hunterdon Co, NJ. When Susanna was age 22 and Harmon Ruliffson [1] was age 29 they became the parents of Experience Ruliffson 5 October 1789 in Hunterdon Co, NJ. When Susanna was age 24 and Harmon Ruliffson [1] was age 30 they became the parents of Mary Ruliffson [2] 26 August 1791 in Hunterdon Co, NJ. When Susanna was age 26 and Harmon Ruliffson [1] was age 32 they became the parents of Susannah Ruliffson 8 September 1793 in Hunterdon Co, NJ. When Harmon was age 42 and Susanna Beemer was age 35 they became the parents of Ruliff Ruliffson 5 October 1802 in Schoharie Co, NY. When Harmon was age 44 and Susanna Beemer was age 38 they became the parents of Peter S Ruliffson 28 April 1805 in Blenheim, Camden Co, NJ. Born in Middlesex county, New Jersey, Sept. 15, 1760. There is in the Adjutant General's office in New Jersey a record which states that Harmon Ruliffson served as a private soldier in Capt. Richard Stilwell's Company, Fourth Regiment, Hunterdon county, New Jersey militia, during the REvolutionary War. After the was he married Susanna Breemer, Aug 1, 1784. She was born Dec. 17, 1766. He moved with his family, presumable from Hunterdon county, New Jersey, to Schoharie county, New York, in 1795, and settled on a farm in the town of Gilboa in the southern part of the county. He lived on this farm until his death which occurred March 24, 1851. On his tombstone it is recorded that he was one of the early settlers in that region of the State. He was a very strong man physically, and lived to a great age. He was one of the organizers of the Dutch Reformed Church at South Gilboa, Schoharie county, N. Y., the first in that region. His wife died in 1854. Children born in New Jersey were: Mercy, Margaret (Peggy), Experience, Mary (Polly), and Susannah; born in Schoharie county, N.
